About
Hello and welcome to Nettle! My name is Roisin, and I’m passionate about creating inspiring, immersive spaces. I believe that your garden or wedding should be representative of who you are, and a really beautiful form of self expression. I love to help guide people through the design process to really get to the vision they imagined. My design work is creative, naturalistic, and contemporary and I love to work with couples who really want a distinctive and unique feeling to their wedding day.
My background is in interiors and visual displays for fashion and retail, and I transferred this experience into my floristry and garden design work about 4 years ago. I love being able to create using natural, seasonal elements, and regularly use local and foraged material in my designs, which helps link the floral work back to the location, and the time of year.
I aim to work in a sustainable way and use a combination of local and imported blooms, primarily local foliage, and as little plastic as possible. We are a completely floral foam free business.

We had a small, intimate wedding and Roisin was able to create the most beautiful, creative flowers for us and made the process very easy. Such a wonderful person to work with and her flower creations are absolutely breath-taking. She used local Irish roses and our house was filled with the fragrance for a week. Our flowers were one of my favourite things about our day.
